Frog Spirit
Today, we are greeted by Frog Spirit, who encourages us to create space and let go of all that is no longer serving us. This includes the physical and non-physical aspects and areas of our lives. Creating space will also allow us to simplify our lives and find more contentment and happiness.
Simplifying our lives begins with letting go of the things - physical and nonphysical - that we are carrying from the past that no longer serve us. Indeed, they may have become obstacles and limitations to our forward evolution without our awareness.
Humans have an amazing capacity to become accustomed to chaos, pain, and things that make us uncomfortable. These become familiar to us and we then are unable to see how we are perpetuating the cycle and staying in these energies. This is one of the reasons we are repeatedly asked by Spirit to become aware and to bring our awareness to all that we do, think, and feel. Our awareness is what allows us to see what we could not see before, and, then, to become willing to release what no longer serves us.
When we let go of what is energetically or physically “polluting” our space, we allow ourselves to be more supported in our expansion and ascension process. It becomes possible to experience more of who we really are and who we wish to become. We also have more bandwidth to visualize and allow the dreams and inspirations of our soul to reach us through our hearts.
When we are asked to let go, there may be hesitation as we are afraid of the unknown or letting go of something that we might need in the future. This asks us to step more deeply into trust - trusting that we will have all that we need when we need it. We may also hesitate to let go as we fear the loss of our identity/identities and wonder who will I be. When we free ourselves, we step into a reclaimation of self and our sovereignty, and also step into our multidimensional relationship with the Universe.
This also allows us to begin to be able to find contentment and happiness in small things. We begin to also see the blessings that are all around us. We begin to relish being in our own space and our own company. Indeed, we realize that we have been bombarded by noise and begin to feel excited by all that we can now experience in this new cultivated space. In fact, it will likely become a critical part of our self-care.
Take the time to quiet the mind and connect with your heart space. Ask your guides, angels, and Higher Self to come forward and reveal to you what you most need to know at this time. Then, take the time to gently contemplate your life and your surroundings with the following questions.
What is weighing you down in your environment?
What is weighing you down emotionally?
Is your environment full of things from the past - past romantic relationships, family relationships, etc.? Do these things remind you of the past and keep you there - in other words, are you living in the stories and narratives of the past?
Are you keeping things out of guilt?
Are you keeping things out of fear of loss or of missing out?
What do the items in your home subconsciously signal to you? Are they supportive and uplifting? Or do they remind you of a time of chaos, drama, pain, etc.?
Do you have others who live in drama in your space? How does this affect you?
Take the time to listen to your own thoughts. What are they saying to you about you? What are they saying to you about others? Are your thoughts stuck in the old, in chaos, in drama?
Do you involve yourself in the drama and chaos of others? Are you willing to allow others to have their own journeys? Do you recognize that you cannot do the work for anyone else? Do you realize that it is also not your job to do this work for them?
Look for mess in any area of your life and ask these questions. Are you using these “messes” as a means of coping or distraction? Are you using them to avoid intimacy with self or other?
Are you prioritizing yourself in your life? If not, why not? And, what can you do today to start to prioritize you?
Are you making commitments that are in alignment with your truth - or are you doing things out of obligation?
Are you buying things that support you? Or are you buying things that perpetuate the status quo?
Are you willing to be radically honest with yourself about your behaviors and patterns around your physical space? Are you willing to be radically honest about what you need to support yourself mentally, emotionally, and spiritually?
As we step into this new year, this type of exercise is perfectly suited to help us support ourselves and to connect deeply with our hearts and our guidance team to set a foundation to facilitate our expansion and further awakening throughout the year. You deserve to have a supportive space inside and out. Are you willing to create this for yourself?
