Follow Your Heart
Today, we are greeted by the energy of Ishtar, also known as Inanna and Astarte, Goddess of Love and War. Ishtar encourages us to get in touch with and follow the truth of our hearts. This asks us to come into coherence with our higher hearts and higher minds, and is particularly significant because the truth that flows from our souls will always prevail.
During this time, we are being offered opportunities for deep healing and revelations. Information is being revealed everywhere you look.
Are you listening? Are you aware? Are you in resistance?
Many of us believe it is time for revelation and welcome it in theory or conceptually, not realizing that there is resistance and avoidance (unconscious or otherwise) to receiving that information as well.
Resistance often comes forward because some information causes a war between our heads and our hearts. Our hearts know that we are safe and all is well, while our egos are full of anxiety, depression, and a need for control.
Ishtar comes forward to welcome you to commune with your heart. Listening to the heart involves our whole being for information may be communicated to us in many ways - through our feelings, through our bodies, through other people, through music, through art, through “random coincidences.” ;)
We are asked to pay attention to all of the information and nuance surrounding us even during this time of intensity - perhaps more so during this time of intensity.
We are encouraged to begin with listening to and deeply feeling our feelings, rather than assessing if something makes sense with our brains. This allows us to tap into our intuition and hear counterintuitively.
Sometimes we experience resistance or avoidance because we feel that if we do what our heart says we will miss out or lose something. When we listen to our hearts, we always gain - we are guided to treasure and benefits of many kinds - despite how things might appear at first.
This requires trust and sometimes a leap of faith.
Isthar is inviting us to seek the truth and to honor it even if it is challenging to do so. Truth will not only set us free, it will allow us to experience the present more authentically and with greater integrity.
This includes our truth and what we need to feel to heal and to share with others, including establishing healthy boundaries.
When we connect with our hearts, we connect with our Higher Selves. This ultimately results in the highest good being served for us and for those around us.
Take the time to meditate today with Ishtar. What does she reveal to you about connecting with your heart?
Are your mind and heart at war?
Are you in resistance?
What do you need to be able to listen and obtain greater clarity?
Are you listening with all of your senses?
Ask Ishtar to reveal to you what you most need to know today.
This beautiful Goddess is happy to support you as you dive deeply into your inner knowledge and wisdom and integrate polarities that are a natural part of this dualistic world.
