Gifts in Everything
Today, we are invited to look for the gift in everything we experience.
We often hear of this concept and, yet, when offered the opportunity we overlook the hidden wisdom being offered to us.
Everything in our lives happens for our benefit. This is part of being a spiritual being in physical form. We are always connected to the divine, despite the illusion of separation we agree to when we incarnate. The Universe/Spirit/All that Is wants us to be happy and joyful, and to prosper.
Our souls view everything from this perspective of love and abundance. Furthermore, our soul is aware of everything we may encounter when we incarnate, as well as all of the permutations we may choose through the exercise our free will. This is all “accounted” for by our souls before we embark on our next physical adventure.
If we can accept these premises, it allows us to choose to be present with whatever arises in our lives. Presence allows us to greet each experience as a gift of information. There is no longer positive or negative - there is only information. This allows us to shift out of fear and to see through illusion and distortion.
Significant insights come forth as we shine light into challenging experiences in our lives and, then, we also learn to take appropriate responsibility for the creation of our lives. It allows us to drop resistance, avoidance, escapism, and other coping or defensive mechanisms. We can then become aware that we are creating the drama, chaos, and patterns we experience - and why we are doing so.
We then will find it easier to embrace our shadow, triggers, and tender spots with the awareness that all of these are opportunities for healing.
As we recognize that this is a process and that all things are revealed in perfect timing and in the perfect way, our perspective of the world will begin to shift. We find greater patience, love, and compassion for ourselves and, thereafter, for others.
This leads us to the discovery of greater freedom and expansion.
Indeed, we begin to remember and uncover an entirely new set of rules to play in the physical dimension. From this higher vibration, we become active co-creators of our lives.
