Obsidian
After the wild ride of yesterday’s Lion’s Gate Portal, we are greeted today by the Spirit of Obsidian to help us integrate and go even deeper.
Obsidian is a beautiful grounding stone that also provides psychic protection. It increases our ability to receive communication from Spirit. It also assists us in remaining grounded when faced with challenge, as well as the release/removal of unwanted energies.
Robert Simmons describes Obsidian - “It is like a ‘psychic vacuum cleaner,’ cleansing the auric field of disharmony, negative attachments, astral plane ‘junk,’ and one’s own emanations of anger, greed, fear, resentment, etc.”
Furthermore, Obsidian assists us to KNOW THYSELF by uncovering our unconscious thought and behavior patterns. While this may not be comfortable, it is essential to our evolution.
When we know ourselves, we come into greater alignment and are able to have greater access to Spirit and our personal growth. Obsidian assists us in doing this through self-reflection and an invitation into observing oneself and all of the experiences we are creating in our lives. Observation of self allows us to begin or deepen the process of personal transformation; for just as in quantum physics with waves and particles, our observation brings conscious awareness into whatever we are experiencing and has a profound effect upon the creation.
You cannot see what you cannot see until you can see it and then you cannot unsee it.
As part of this, Obsidian invites us to love ourselves in all of our complexity for, indeed, we are complex beings living in very complex experience full of both beauty and things we may not prefer, internally and externally. When we can come to an awareness and understanding of our woundings and “darker” emotions, these can be illuminated and transformed.
Obsidian encourages us to look within for that which we are seeking to find in another and reminds us that we have forgotten much of what we carry within. Each of us is a magnificent expression of Source energy with so much to offer. As we come into greater intimacy with self, we can then be more authentic in all of our relationships - including that with money.
Acceptance of self creates a profound healing that extends into all aspects of our lives. This allows us to feel empowered and to actively co-create our realities in the way we desire, rather than passively with a mishmash of what we may not intend or prefer.
Take the time to meditate with Obsidian Spirit today. Allow yourself to drop into your heart center and then connect with your Earth Star chakra and Gaia. Ask for assistance in revealing your fear-based belief systems and behavior patterns, including those that may seem counter-intuitive such as fear-based generosity. Know that you are protected in this process.
