Release, Forgive, Soften, Move Forward
Today, we are again encouraged to look at what we are holding on to and become willing to release it so that we may step further into our freedom. That this is a consistent theme in recent messages is because of the tremendous period of change and transformation that we are in both collectively and individually. We must release the old to create space for and to step into the new.
Change, however, can be challenging for both the mind and the heart to accept - even if it is from a situation that was quite painful or from limbo following an ending, loss, or hurt that we have been carrying with us from the past. We are encouraged to begin the process of letting go, recognizing that this process takes time that may span a few days to a few years.
To begin this process, we are invited to become willing. This is all that is needed. Sometimes, if our resistance is great, this can begin with the willingness to become willing. The desire to be free and the inner knowingness that there must be something more than this pain/limbo will assist us and nudge us into the process of becoming willing.
To move through and release, we must become willing to feel our feelings. A felt-sense of an emotion or experience is what allows us to trigger the release on all levels - the mind, body and heart. Our feelings were not meant to be stagnant for stagnation leads to dis-ease manifesting in the body.
Instead, we are encouraged to call upon water to teach us to flow and move with our emotions. Water also is not meant to be stagnant. It is no coincidence that you are a being made up predominantly of water. The water within you and in your external environment can teach you about movement and flow. When you call for the release of the water within you - the emotions that you have been holding on to - know that you will not drown. Instead, you will find a greater state of balance and freedom as the internal barriers and dams collapse allowing your emotional waters to rush forth and find their natural release.
Take the time to quiet the mind and go inside today. Are there stagnant emotions - anger, resentment, pain, loss, guilt, shame, etc. - that you are holding on to? Why are you holding on to it? Is it serving a purpose for you? Are you willing to release this emotion(s)? Do you know who you might be able to become without it/them?
Are you willing to let water show you how to flow and release? Take the time to visualize the movement and flow of water. You may wish to turn on ocean sounds or a program showing you a shoreline with waves coming in and out.
Ask your guides to reveal anything else that you would benefit from releasing?
Allow yourself to feel the flow that is available to you from your state of willingness.
Will you allow yourself to feel your deep connection to Gaia and your guides and angels?
Such a release will often result in feelings of tenderness. Take the time for extra self-care and self-love. Your willingness allows you to step into a new experience of becoming. This exercise may be done anytime you feel stagnant, stuck, or in limbo; and, any time during these tumultuous periods of intense change that we are going through as a collective. Do not be surprised if you find yourself releasing energies for the collective while you are experiencing your individual process; and know that we, as a collective, all benefit as a result of your willingness to release and allow greater flow.
