Tender Embrace

Today, we are reminded to have compassion for ourselves. So often we get caught up in the suffering that we see in the world. We have compassion for the experiences of others and reverence for their experience.

This is profoundly important, and, today, we are also reminded that sometimes we can be of more service to others when we take care of ourselves.

Take the time to meditate with your Higher Self today and ask to be shown how you can be more compassionate with yourself. How can you hold yourself more? What do you need to take care of yourself? Where in your life do you need to be kinder and more gentle to yourself? How can you focus on compassion in all areas of your life?

When we engage in these questions with curiosity, we begin to refill our own cups so that we may be more resourced. We also find that we have more to offer when we accept ourselves and let go of self-judgment and perfectionism.

Indeed, when we allow ourselves the grace to be human, it is easier to allow others the same grace.

Through this, we find ways to be of service authentically so that we can be in alignment with higher frequencies and solutions for the struggle and suffering we see in the world. It may be as simple as making eye contact and smiling at another person for this small act has a profound effect upon people.

Indeed, when we are kind for no reason - to self and other - miracles appear all around.

How can you make a commitment to self-compassion today?
