Time for a Nap
Today, we are invited to slow down and take care of ourselves.
Now is a time for rest and renewal. Take the time to discover what you find rejuvenating - a long bath, a walk in nature, a long nap in the middle of the day, ordering in food, bing watching a series on demand, going for a swim, cuddling up with your animal(s), etc.
It can be anything or nothing at all as long as it creates the space for you to breathe and to loosen any energetic constriction that has come into your life and body. Take the time to ask yourself and listen. Your body and your inner beings will respond and let you know.
The current intensities of energy and the feelings of disconnection/heaviness/tiredness will ease as we take the time to reconnect with self. This reconnection with self will also allow us greater access to our intuition and inner wisdom that is frequently overrun by a chaotic and overwhelmed mind.
This reconnection further lets us create internal space for our dreams to surface and our ideas to begin to flow again. Indeed, epiphanies often surface when we rest, detach, and step back into neutrality. This results in seeing through the fog and finding greater clarity.
While the brain tells us we must have goals, lists, and take as much action as possible, more often than not we accomplish more when we slow down, meditate, and observe without engagement. Almost nothing has the urgency that the brain ascribes to it. Take the time to prioritize anything that must be done and then let the remainder be for the moment.
Take the time to meditate today whether it is passive or active, and allow your brain to turn off (or as far down as possible). Say kind words of gratitude to your body, mind, and soul for all that they do to you. From this space, ask yourself what you need to soothe, recharge, and restore - and give yourself permission to do that, even if it feels indulgent. You deserve it! And, you are worth it!
In addition, to practicing this today, you may wish to continue this throughout the next week or so, as the energies will be conducive to rest and restoration, and will facilitate the integration process of the energies already coming in with the Solistice on June 20th.
