Choose Your Destiny
Today, we are greeted by the energies of Shiva, who offers us his support in stepping out of our fears and releasing that which no longer serves us. The cobra around Shiva’s neck symbolizes the ability to break through fear and the constraints of the ego. Doing so allows us to connect more deeply with the light and love of the Cosmos.
Shiva will also assist us in uncovering any conditioning, patterns, or belief systems that we may have. With his assistance, we can harvest the lessons and nuggets of treasure from our experiences and release the indoctrinations that no longer serve us. This also is an invitation to release guilt, as well as any feelings of regret about things we might have or “should” have done. With Shiva’s guidance, we have the opportunity to see that we have come so very far on our journeys and that we have evolved. If we allow this, we will begin to engage with the world from a place of greater safety, trust, and balance that will allow us to move into compassion, freedom, and joy.
When this card appears, we are also being reminded that the Universe loves us for who we are, just as we are. We do not need to seek forgiveness from Source. Source has already forgiven us. We are encouraged to forgive ourselves and to release the limitations and obstacles that we have been holding in place from beliefs that we do not deserve and/or that something is wrong with us.
Take the time to quiet the mind and invite the presence of your guides and angels. Call forth the presence of Shiva. Allow yourself to be held in this powerful masculine energy.
Are there areas of your life in which you are feeling fear? Are you aware of your fears? Ask Shiva to reveal to you any fears in your life and support you in discovering their origins and releasing them.
Do you have feelings of guilt, shame, or regret? What do these stem from? Ask Shiva and your guides and angels to shed light on these feelings. What do you notice? Do you see something in a new light?
Are you willing to see how far you have come? Are you willing to recognize and be grateful for all of the changes you have made? Are you willing to see and appreciate all of the blessings in your life?
Do you believe you need to seek forgiveness from Source? Do you believe that Source/God will not forgive you? Do you believe you deserve to be forgiven? Are you willing to receive forgiveness? Ask Shiva to surround you in the light and love of Source and to assist you in connecting with how Source sees and feels about you. What is revealed to you?
How do you feel about your own self-worth and value? Do you believe you are enough? Ask Shiva to assist you in connecting with your divine crystalline spark/flame within and to feel your value, to forgive yourself, and to open to love yourself more.
Are you willing to let go of the old so that you may step into choice and the destiny of your soul?
