Sacred Journey
Today, we are greeted by the energy of the mountains. The mountains have long held the energies of mystery, magic, and mysticism. The mountains connect with the sky, while remaining deeply rooted and grounded in the earth. They are examples and guides for us to do the same in our own lives, and, thus, not surprisingly have drawn pilgrims of all kinds from across the world.
Mountains in their grandeur create sensations of awe, joy, and curiosity. They provide portals into other dimensions and realities. They provide homes to many species that humans in general believe exist only in myth and legend. The mountains also contain wisdom and steadfastness, and have so much to teach us.
We often experience this as a calling. A calling to go to the mountain, whether it be a specifc mountain, or the mountains in general. This is a calling from our souls - it is an invitation to rediscover and remember more of ourselves.
Some experience this calling as a need to be physically on the mountain - walking, hiking, meditating, camping - connecting in and being in these powerful energies. Some experience this through a book, a movie, their imagination, photographs, astral travel, bi-location, and lucid dreaming. Indeed, there is no requirement to be physically on the mountains in the way we currently conceive of that in order to connect with the energies they hold.
The question being put forth for your consideration today is: “What is your soul calling you to do?”
As you connect in with your heart today and connect into your Higher Self listen closely for the whisperings of your soul. Your soul is calling to you. Are you using all of your senses and your body to listen? Are you looking around you everywhere for clues and answers? Do you feel inspiration, passion, and an inner knowingness flowing and filling up within you?
Each of our souls has a path and purpose. As you bask in the quiet of the mind and connection with self, call forth the energies of the mountains and take the time to connect with their energies. Ask the mountains - a specific one or several - to reveal to you what your soul is most trying to tell you?
Ask the energies of the mountains to foster your connection across earth and sky even further?
As you allow this energy to build and surround you, what do you see, sense, feel, know, hear or imagine?
Are you willing to take the road less traveled?
Are you willing to take the steps shown to you to foster your sacred journey into the unknown, even if you have no idea where to begin or what to do next?
Will you surrender and trust that all is being revealed and you will have all that you need?
As you tap into these energies and contemplate these questions, what arises for you?
