Vulnerability
Today, we are invited to allow our vulnerability to be our strength.
Despite not wanting to be alone, so many of us build walls as a result of our wounding and traumas. We believe this keeps us safe, yet it results in our living half lives. We are encouraged to step out from behind our walls and to fully engage with life.
Our lives are defined by relationships of all kinds. We are in relation to all things, whether we are paying attention to this or not. This is what helps us define more of what we prefer and what we do not prefer to have in our lives; and, relationships serve as a reflection of what we are creating in our lives. This is incredibly valuable information.
Take the time today to consider how you are showing up in your life. Are you engaging with others from behind a mask or series of masks, or through constructs that keep others at a distance? Are you being your vulnerable and authentic self? Are you setting healthy boundaries in all of your relationships?
When we reveal our wounds and our vulnerabilities, we create the opportunity for deep and meaningful bonds to form. We learn (and teach) beautiful lessons when we connect with others in this way. We create a close network of support.
In addition, we individually blossom as a result of being emotionally honest, real, and authentic. Life takes on a different quality when we are able to live in our integrity for we are finally able to truly be present. When this occurs, we realize that we do not need to defend ourselves, but rather are empowered by our own raw openness and willingness to be seen.
Thus, when we share our hearts, there is much to celebrate. We find deeper love, friendship, and laughter - we find joy. We all thrive!
Take the time to meditate with this card today and consider:
What limitations are you imposing upon yourself in relationships and why?
Are you willing to be seen?
What are you afraid of? Is this fear real?
Are you living inside of a guilded cage that you’ve created?
Are you able to set healthy boundaries and allow yourself to be authentic?
Try being more of your authentic self today with someone close to you. How are you received? Does this change your relationship? Do you feel more empowered?
