Courage to Shine
Today’s message is an invitation to be seen. As we grow up, we often learn to camouflage ourselves - to wear masks - to hide. We do this to create a sense of safety for ourselves. This sense of safety frequently is motivated by a desire to belong and to be accepted - to not be rejected or abandoned.
This need for acceptance and belonging stems from the Illusion of Separation that we have discussed in prior posts, classes, and community gatherings. The veils of this illusion are dissolving on a mass scale as we are infused and activated with more and more light. Those that have been turning within have been cultivating the ability to see through this illusion more quickly and to create a new foundation of trust and safety in their lives. The invitation and opportunity for all to break through this illusion will continue to grow as Gaia herself and all the animals, insects and plantlife accelerate their ascension.
You might say, there is no stopping the ascension of consciousness train now that it has left the station.
When we go within and connect, we begin to realize that we are responsible for our safety and that nothing external to us will ever be able to provide what we seek. Then, we slowly begin to build that safety and sense of trust - we learn to trust ourselves, we learn what makes us feel safe, we learn what makes us not feel safe and why we do not feel safe, we learn what is “ours” and we learn what we have adopted or been indoctrinated with from others.
All of this information then allows us to begin to take greater risks and to step out of our comfort zones. As we practice this, sometimes there is a desire to step back into old habits or patterns - yet, we frequently find that they no longer serve us or provide us the relief that they once did. It is a bit of a “cha cha” if you will.
Sometimes we will leap forward, sometimes we will take a baby step. With each opportunity, we find the courage within not to hide and to allow our authentic self to shine through a bit more. This builds our confidence and more courage. It also allows us to greet uncertainty and the unknown with less and less fear.
Spirit comes forth today to invite us to connect with and embrace new parts of self - we have greater access to aspects of ourselves than ever before. There is no rush - and - the energetics of the next 8 weeks will accelerate this experience for each one of us.
Thus, today’s exercise is to connect with self and to ask your guidance team to reveal to you where you are hiding, wearing masks, dimming your light or otherwise limiting the expression of your authentic self.
What steps can you take today to connect with more of your authenticity? Are you willing to express more of your authentic self? What, if any, fears arise for you as you contemplate doing so?
In what way are you able to do something outside of your comfort zone today? Allow yourself the permission to do so. What do you experience?
What do you need to feel safer in this world? Why does that “thing” foster a feeling of safety?
Ask your guidance team to show you and assist you in feeling how loved, supported and safe you are. Are you willing to surrender into this feeling? As you carry this awareness throughout your day, what do you notice? Is your courage and confidence increased? What happens with your interactions with others?
Remember, you are a multidimensional creator being in divine partnership with your Higher Self, as well as with Spirit. You are never alone and all is well. Have the courage to be you and to let your light shine. The world needs it :).
