Unexpected Benefits: T-Shirts & Cute Trucks
Today’s invitation is to do something you love, just because you love doing it, as well as to service.
As I was traveling across Northern NY near the Canadian Border, I came across this sign and it made me smile.
It is an invitation to service - to be a part of something just because and to look for other benefits in the process of doing so. And, the offer in the sign is a bit tongue and cheek, making it all the better.
When we do things just because we love them or because we wish to step outside of ourselves and be of help, there are many rewards. Yet, we often do not take the time to see those rewards as we are focused on finances and, perhaps, what we will get out of it.
This is a result of the survival consciousness of the old paradigm.
Money is, indeed, the energetic currency of the world at this time; however, there are many other forms of currency and exchange. In these changing energetics, we are not only reminded of this frequently, but we are also asked to explore and participate with other energetics.
It is an invitation out of isolation and separation into greater community.
Some places in this country (and other countries) are better at this or, you might say, seem to do it more naturally - especially if there are smaller populations, fewer resources, and greater challenges with, for example, weather.
Stepping outside of ourselves and into community is part of the greater energetic evolution that we are in at this time. And, community is one of the new technologies that we already see, and will continue to see, growing in the evolving consciousness.
The invitation today is to connect with your heart space and ask yourself if you are willing to do something just because you love it. Additionally, ask yourself if you are willing to be of service to others. See what comes to the surface as you sit with these two questions. Remember, do not judge anything that arises; rather, simply observe and ask yourself more questions.
Then, as you go about your day and the weekend, see what you notice around you. Are there opportunities to assist others? They may be small and singular, they may be something akin to the photo above.
How can you share a little bit of yourself, your time, your energy?
What unexpected rewards might come to you in the process of doing so?
As you play with this, there is no right and wrong - it is simply an invitation to open into the new blossoming energies - and perhaps do something simply because it might be fun, simply because you love it, simply because you want to try something new, or simply because it is an opportunity to be of service and step outside of self.
