Rest & Dream
Today’s message comes to us from the Postcards from Spirit deck. It says:
“Dearest You,
Even though life seems now to be moving full steam ahead, it’s a time to rest. Allow ideas to flow through you and take root in your heart before they reach your mind. Honor this process by becoming empty to allow for inspiration and the magic of dreaming. You might feel lazy or unproductive, but we know better. Just as sleep is a way to recharge before renewal, so are you in a time for dreaming. In this powerful process of co-creation, your soul merges with Spirit in a profound way so you can receive your music directly from Source and play your part in the symphony of life. You are being invited to bear witness to the Great Creation and tune in to what others can’t hear.
We have so many dreams to share with you in the sacred and the invisible. Don’t worry - we will wake you when it’s time to return with a new dream. No need to set an alarm clock.

The energies of the full moon today are a wonderful time to kick off a new dream journal. Before sleep this evening, take the time to set the intention to connect and to recall your dreams that are in your highest good and that will show you the next steps, as well as what is being healed and integrated at this time so that you may step forth into dynamic, creative energy with the advent of the new year. What needs to be released? What needs more light and attention? What needs more focus? What is coming in the months ahead that you can begin to work towards now? What inspiration is bubbling up within you?
Then, before you open your eyes in the morning, ask to recall your dreams and immediately begin writing, whether you think you recall anything or not. Just the process of writing will bring forth information. If you feel that you don’t dream or you don’t remember, you may be surprised at the results that come from setting this intention each evening.
And, information does not only have to come through our longest sleep cycle of the day. It may also begin to come through naps, as well as daydreams. Give yourself permission to slip into a dream like state when you quiet your mind, whether you sleep or not. This is a powerful practice of becoming empty - creating space - to work with the quantum. This may also facilitate lucid dreaming; and, perhaps even open the door to remote viewing.
So much is made possible when we invite the invisible to become known as part of our conscious awareness. This practice will also reveal to you the power of your intentions.
Please remember that this is a practice that you may wish to begin and play with for the next 2 weeks, 3 weeks or a month. It will evolve and deepen, so don’t give up if it seems like you are not getting much in the beginning. It will reap may surprises. And, so it is!
